BCL Solicitors – Training

Baskerville Drummond was approached by BCL to improve the use of basic IT tools, including Word, Excel, BCL’s PDF editor, their document management system, and a third-party sharing tool.

BCL have identified that general training not only increases feature use but also generally raises confidence and prepares staff for the IT projects that are ongoing within the firm.

Following discussions with key contacts, Baskerville Drummond’s Beccy Scobell developed a tailored training program addressing the specific software needs of the staff. The program consisted of five sessions, each designed to cover the identified essential skills.

The staff at BCL had the flexibility to enrol in the training sessions that best suited their individual needs. These sessions were remote, hands-on sessions meaning that the attendees could follow along and participate with exercises.

We were please to find that the feedback we received from the attendees was positive, including this quote from one of the attendees: “Beccy Scobell was clear and precise when explaining the tips she gave us.”

In addition to the sessions, Beccy created comprehensive training materials, including training guidance documentation and videos, to provide ongoing support for BCL.
