Beccy has over a decade of experience in the legal industry. She started as a Legal Secretary in a fast-paced top 50 full service national firm. This is where Beccy found her love of IT and the different types of software that law firms use.

Swiftly she moved into a training role, where she developed extensive knowledge of IT and the inner workings of law practices, working with a variety of firms within the UK. She has experience in training on a vast array of software including, but not limited to:

As an experienced trainer, Beccy knows that training is only truly effective if it is supporting a wider strategic plan. To ensure her training plans deliver to the firm’s objectives Beccy engages with firm leadership and project teams, to understand their vision and uses her expertise to identify gaps in firms’ current knowledge, of their applications and subsequently designs and delivers topical training to bridge these, improving productivity and effectiveness.

Effective training not only relies on high quality training material but also the delivery, Beccy approaches all aspects of training with great enthusiasm and excitement. This shows in the quality of her work, the trainee engagement levels achieved and her ability to change firms’ attitudes towards training.

As well as her training role Beccy has also played an instrumental part in supporting the delivery of various firmwide implementations of technology including developing practice management systems (coding precedent banks and screens), undertaking end-user requirements gathering, acceptance testing and preparing / supporting users through the change process.

As a rounded IT professional Beccy is also well versed in needs of users and supporting IT Service Desks in meeting these needs.

Her passion is to help others find their love of IT, or to rescue them from their “IT hell”.

Beccy provides any training using a variety of techniques including remote sessions / webinars, providing training documentation and videos or onsite groups or one-to-one sessions.
