Cathy Kirby
Cathy has worked in legal IT for over 30 years, the majority of that time in senior roles such as Software and Data Manager, IT Manager, Head of IT and then latterly Technology Director at a large and progressive multi-site regional law firm.
She has in-depth and real hands-on experience of all areas of technology such as devising and delivering key strategies, mentoring and managing IT Teams, major infrastructure changes, Practice Management System replacements, data governance and cyber security reviews, and managing a raft of project types including mergers, de-mergers and office moves.
From three decades in practice, Cathy has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and practical learning that she is now sharing with clients. She is a great ‘go-to’ source for advice on infrastructure, networks, telephony, software selection, application development, information management and analysis, business analysis and transformation, project management, support and training.
Cathy’s particular strength is her holistic approach, where projects are not just about understanding the requirement and objectives and technicalities, but also the culture of the firm and its individuals; success is finding solutions that not only work but are a good fit and well received.
